Khiza DAO – Web3 Venture Studio

How we build

Our way of exploring

As Khiza, we work on the development of our own web3 projects, on projects that are co-created with other professionals or even in the corporate innovation area, which means we create and develop tools and solutions with other organizations. We have our own method to get these projects off the ground. It works like this:

Phase 1
Treasure hunt

Market research and benchmark analysis to evaluate the viability of the project.

Phase 2
Catch an opportunity

Definition of concrete details of the project, including timelines, product structure, and milestones.

Phase 3
Hands-on!

Development of an MVP while simultaneously creating a strong branding and communication strategy to support its launch in the market.

Phase 4
Market interaction

Once the product is operational, we analyze market trends and user data to make informed decisions and ensure we know the growth levers necessary to scale.

Phase 5
Spin-off

This phase marks a significant achievement, as the project is ready to scale on its own, while remaining supported by Khiza on fundraising and strategy.

Detailed explanation

With our eyes focused on the market and innovation, we list all ideas and engage in a brainstorming session to select the best ones. Then, we dive into use cases, make comparisons between the web2 and web3 markets, and identify opportunities to fill the market gaps with our solution. This rigorous process helps us focus on the strongest ideas and sets the stage for their continued success.

Before teaming up with another company or group to boost a project's success, we first evaluate its fit with Khiza and with the market momentum. If it meets our standards, we examine, pinpoint deficiencies, and work together to perfect the idea or project.

With the idea defined, now it's time to take it from the drawing board to reality by launching it into the market. So we take the first step by defining requirements and necessary competencies, setting the time-to-market, and the need for funding.

We conduct a thorough analysis to determine what is hindering the success of this project: is it a shortage of funding or talent for development? Is the MVP proposal appropriate for the product? Do we need to pivot this idea or business to find the best path to growth and profitability? If so, how? Based on our findings, we develop an action plan.

We have reached the go-to-market stage, where the team takes action to meet the internal timeline and bring the idea to life. This phase also involves creating the product's branding and communication strategy.

We reached the go-to-market phase when partner teams work together to either restructure the business or put it on its feet. This stage also includes branding (or rebranding) and communication strategy.

Now that the project is no longer just a project, but an operational product, it's time to focus on maintenance and data/market analysis. These efforts will help us keep the product current, as well as carry out the innovation roadmap outlined for it.

With the project already in operation, it is time for us to work together in efforts both to keep this product updated, based on data and market analysis and to continue its operation. In the case of incubated projects, this can happen in a number of different ways, ranging from joint operations to the exchange of intellectual capital, which takes place through mentoring, for example.

Once our developed product has matured enough to be independent, it is time to spin it off. During this phase, Khiza will remain involved in the project, but to a lesser extent than before, in order to ensure it aligns with our purpose and mission.

Once our incubated project has matured enough to stand on its own, it is time to spin it off. We will still be involved in the project, but in a different way, to ensure it stays true to Khiza's mission and purpose.
